Lunch and Learn 2016The Golden Horseshoe Food and Farming Alliance is hosting a Lunch & Learn at Queen’s Park on October 5th to celebrate Ontario Agriculture Week, inviting MPPs and Queen’s Park staff to learn about and discuss some important topics in food and farming in the province.

We are excited to host 3 incredible speakers for this year’s Lunch & Learn:

Jen Christie | Territory Manager, John Deere Canada
Instrumental in advancing women in agribusiness and committed to volunteering with youth agricultural organizations, Jen grew up on a dairy and grain farm in Bruce County. She was one of 2013’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada by the Women’s Executive Network and the National Post.

Carl Loewith | Co-owner, Summitholm Holsteins, Dairy Farmer
