Halton Region Agricultural Forum to uncover the Dirt on Soil Health

Halton Region Ag ForumHalton Region’s 5th annual Agricultural Forum will focus on the importance of soil health in sustainable crop production, taking place on Thursday, March 30, from 7-9 p.m. at Country Heritage Park (Gambrel Barn) in Milton.

The forum offers an excellent learning and networking opportunity for those interested in or already involved in agriculture and food.

Specifically, the event will help attendees learn how to put soil health principles into practice, demonstrating how healthy soils are more resilient to adverse weather, assist with greenhouse gas mitigation and sequestration, resist soil erosion and produce greater yields.

Registration is required but the event is free to attend.
